June 22 (Sunday) - Rustic Levain Sourdough
The Rustic Levain Loaf is the beating heart of Wild Daisy.
Naturally leavened and made with organic flour, this sourdough blends traditional fermentation with stone ground, high protein and whole kernal flour. Creamy brown in color, the Rustic Levain Loaf has a gentle tang with a soft and nutty crumb.
This loaf is made with 3 ingredients - Flour, Water and Salt.
Each loaf is at minimum 1200g (About 2.6lb)
Flour:
I chose to source flour from Janie's Mill out of Ashkum, IL. While I prefer to source from Michigan, the options and quality are limited. Janie's Mill is an organic farm that practices responsible farming, and on a sustainable scale. They have a superior product, great story and are close enough for me.
Salt:
I'm sourcing Salt from Diamond Crystal, which is a Michigan Salt miner and manufacturer based out of St. Clair, MI. They are known for their Alberger Salt - a salt with a distinct diamond-like, crystaline structure that easily adheres to any food product.
***Pickup Instructions***
You may pick up your preorder bread on the date associated with the Product between 8:00am and 2:00pm. Navigate to the Artisan stand in the back of Happystance, and be sure to pull the loaf with YOUR NAME on it. Be careful to only take your order.
Bread is best within 48hrs of baking, be sure to pick up your bread so it doesn't go stale!
All bread is baked to via preorders, and I unfortunately cannot refund orderes that are not picked up.
